When you arrive, you will find a beautiful facility and lots of friendly people. Glenn is usually out in the parking lot welcoming folks and walking them to the door. Others will likely greet you with a smile and genuine welcome as you walk in. We have an information desk directly ahead where someone will be ready to get you connected and offer you a gift for being our new friend. There are coffee and treats in our snack area just to the right. Help yourself. The bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers come highly recommended! We really appreciate our guests, and someone at the welcome desk will gladly lead you around and introduce you. We have a well-staffed nursery for our littlest ones, but please know they are always welcome in worship too.
There is a small group (Sunday school) class that meets at 9:30 am that is always open to visitors. Our other small groups meet during the week at various times and locations. We would love to direct you to one if you are interested. Take time to peruse the information on the tables in the entry to learn about opportunities to get involved serving others and gathering in small groups. And be sure help yourself to some free devotional helps.
We gather in the sanctuary at 10:50 am for worship. We are a normal mix of old and young followers of Jesus. There is a bulletin available; sit wherever you want, make yourself comfortable and enjoy some Jesus-centered community time. The worship service usually lasts about an hour.
In the fall and spring we focus on discipling our young people after worship on Sundays. At 12:15 pm, our Kid's Club, the Youth and adult mentors share lunch, and have fun growing in our faith together through music, games, and Bible study. These groups are always open to visitors and very welcoming.
So here is a recap of a normal Sunday morning:
